Come get creative at our Super-Stories children’s Makers Space in downtown Kinderhook, NY, located in the old Rock Shop at 2 Chatham Street. This space is dedicated to a combination of free and paid programming for artists of all ages, including after-school, evening, and weekend workshops. The space is also available for private art-making parties, as well as other one-day events hosted by local creatives. We will continue to host projects off-site, collaborating with public schools and other non-profits too!

Stamp and Roll: The Art of Skate Marks
In this second installment of Ramiro’s Skate Art series, participants will explore the intersection of movement, texture, and creativity by transforming old skate shoes, wheels, and other recycled items into unique stamping tools.
This hands-on workshop invites artists of all skill levels to reimagine discarded things as instruments of art, focusing on layering, texture, and spontaneous outcomes.

Get Scrappy!
This workshop celebrates the creative potential in working from what has been left behind. Using our collection of old discarded student artwork, scraps of colorful paper, scissors, and glue, we will craft multi-dimensional collages. Participants are also encouraged to bring in their own unwanted artwork or any scraps of paper they’d like to incorporate into their pieces!

This is a very open, relaxed space for adult artists to get together and get creative. Artists are encouraged to bring sketchbooks, but we will also have all kinds of drawing materials available. Feel free to bring snacks or drinks of your choosing. No need to register.

After-School Art Club
Every Wednesday, starting October
3:30 - 5:00 pm
$20 per student
We are so proud to host our After-School Art Club for kids age 6 and up, meeting every Wednesday from 3:30-5.
This space is similar to our Summer sessions, with materials out on the tables for open exploration, as well as guided projects. This is a drop-off program and students can arrive any time between 3:30 and 5. No need to register ahead of time!

Mixed Media Makers: January
This class will focus on different materials and methods, crafting lessons according to student feedback!
